Match Play Week
College of Wooster only!
The Match Play week of camp is designed for players looking for a highly competitive experience, with an emphasis on match strategies and point progressions. Campers will be exposed to many of the advanced teaching techniques and match play strategies found in the country's top collegiate tennis programs. The players will focus each
morning on singles strategies. Offense, Defense, alternative patterns of play and the role of footwork and balance will be featured. Afternoon emphasis is on doubles play. Focus will be on traditional doubles, alternative formations, serve and volley, team movement and ball position awareness. Evening tennis will involve Match Play, with on court coaching from our staff to ensure that these philosophies are being adopted and understood by each camper.
