Case Western Reserve University is one of our newest tennis camps. Founded in 2009, the Case camp proved to be one of the most well rounded All-American tennis camps in Ohio. Camp Director, and Case Western Reserve Univ. men's and women's head coach, Todd Wojtkowski runs a full week, high intensity day camp for boys and girls ages 8-18. Well structured days, enthusiastic coaching and daily variety ensure that each student is put in the most positive learning environment to make drastic improvement in their games. Camp space is limited and the camp sold out it's first week in 2009!

DAY CAMP FOR BOYS & GIRLS AGES 6-18 OF ALL SKILL LEVELS:
The All-American Tennis Camp - Case Western Reserve Univ. is for boys and girls ages 8-18, of all skill levels. This camp is a traditional camp, with emphasis placed on stroke production, modern swing fundamentals and technique and situational drill work.

Costs: $385 per week / $720 for both weeks

Todd Wojtkowski, Head Men's & Women's Tennis Coach - Case Western Reserve University

Todd Wojtkowski is the Head Men's and Women's Tennis Coach at Case Western Reserve University. Wojtkowski spent the past two seasons as an assistant coach at NCAA Division I The Citadel after spending two years on the nationally-ranked Ohio State Buckeye men’s tennis team. He helped the Bulldogs to their first ever NCAA Division I national tennis ranking this year. The program finished 2-18 during the 2006-2007 season and 16-9 this past year. The Youngstown, Ohio, native spent three years playing at the University of Toledo before transferring to Ohio State. As a scholarship student-athlete at Toledo, Wojtkowski was a three-time Varsity T award winner, Team Leadership Award winner and team captain.
He redshirted his senior [first] year at Ohio State, playing for the Buckeyes during his first year of graduate school. The team won a Big Ten Championship and rose to a No. 5 national ranking that season. Wojtkowski earned several awards, including the Ohio State Scholar Athlete Award, the 2006 Senior Leader Award and the Men’s Varsity "O" Post-Graduate Scholarship. Wojtkowski earned his degree in middle childhood education in 2006 from Ohio State and completed an MBA at The Citadel in 2008.
Todd Wojitkowski is one of the top young tennis coaches in the nation. In addition to his enthusiasm and knowledge of the game, Todd is a relentless worker who never takes short cuts. He will spend extra time with young players to ensure they are making the type of strides in their games that both parties are striving for.

STAFF: The staff of the Case Western camp is comprised of other college coaches & top collegiate players picked by Coach Wojitkowski for their teaching skills and abilities to relate to young players.

TYPES OF PROGRAMS OFFERED:
Traditional Camps (Stroke development emphasis): Our traditional tennis camps (non match play) are designed to focus on the fundamentals and swing techniques of the modern tennis strokes. Some of the areas of focus for each level include:
- Beginners: The beginning level player will be introduced to the basics of the game. Emphasis will be placed on stroke production and the technical aspects of the swing in an effort to teach these young players sound fundamentals from the ground up.
- Intermediate: Intermediate level players will also focus on fundamental stroke production (to insure proper technique),but will also be in put into game play situations to introduce these players to the competitive side of the game.
- Advanced: The more advanced players will work with stroke production in a competitive environment, but will also be introduced to the basic strategies of the game.
- High School / Tournament: Varsity high school and tournament players will focus primarily on the strategic and competitive aspects of the game. Although there will be attention spent on the stroke fundamentals, more emphasis will be placed on point progression, court positioning, patterns and sequences, percentage plays and live ball drill work.
