Many lacrosse camps come and go each year.  Some setup shop and never follow through and hold the camp.  This is the result of lack of experience.  The Revolution Lacrosse Camp in now entering our 8th season at the College of Wooster, and Premier Sports Camps have a wealth of experience hosting all sorts of sports camps in addition to these lacrosse camps (more than 20 years)  With this experience comes an in depth knowledge of the right mixture between fun and hard work, to ensure that each student fully benefits from this camp experience.

In addition, we place significant emphasis on individual attention, a competitive environment, and hands-on instruction to guarantee not only a great learning environment for all levels of players, but to also build a passion and love for the sport of lacrosse. We supervise the kids 24 hours a day and it is our goal to see that each student enjoys themselves off the courts, while at the same time learning on the fields. One of the hallmarks of the Premier Sports Camps and the Revolution Lacrosse Camp is value for the dollar. We make every effort to keep our fees as low as possible. In fact, at $510 per week, we are one of the lowest priced residential instructional camps in Ohio. In some cases we are more than $175-$250 less per week than our competitors.  More importantly though, we are one of the only 5 day / 4 night camps in the country. It is our belief that young players need at least 5 days worth of repetitions in order to make the changes in their games that will see each player take the next step in their development.

The key to any instructional lacrosse camp in the quality of instruction. We have hand picked our staff based on their abilities to instruct and relate to kids ages 8-18. There are many camps out there that have “big name” coaches or “outstanding players”, however the real question is, can these people teach the game, and more importantly can they relate and work with young kids. Our camp Directors have more than 20 years experience working lacrosse camps, and they carefully hire a good mix of coaches based on their expertise and communication skills. In addition, it is our goal to see to it that not only do the students have a top flight learning environment, but that they are able to have a enjoyable and fun camp experience as a whole. We want kids to continue to enjoy and love the game, as their skills progress.

The College of Wooster is considered the finest sports camp environment in the state of Ohio. This beautiful location, in northeast Ohio, offers the safety of a small town setting, coupled with a picturesque campus. In addition, the facilities are top notch. The athletic facilities are regarded as some of the most well kept in the state. The camp setup is outstanding. A $5 million overhaul to the food service offers as kids more choices and better quality food than just about anywhere. Campus dorms are well kept and set up ideally for a camp setting. There is an outstanding student union which hosts the campus bookstore, two dining options, post office, computer labs, and a game room. The fields, the food hall, the dorms, the student union, game room, post office and bookstore are all within 500-1000 yards of each other.

The Revolution Lacrosse Camps are a full time commitment and year round pursuit.  Much planning and preparation go into each week of camp that we host.  Our combination of knowledge, enthusiasm, and energy, coupled with this planning and full time commitment, result in the finest camp experience around. We are passionate about our opportunity to work with kids and our advertised staff is there for the complete duration of camp, clinic or training. We don’t make cameo appearances – we’re interacting with our participants for the duration of camp.
