The College of Wooster

The Dates for the 2008 Wooster Girls Basketball Camp have been set. Once again this summer, there will be two sessions of camp. The first session is June 15-18 and the second session is July 13-16. Both weeks of camp will be hosted on the campus of The College of Wooster, in Wooster, OH.

Now in our 27th year!!!

The Wooster Girls Basketball Camp is now entering our 27th year, making our camp one of the oldest and most successful camps in the Midwest.

WOOSTER BASKETBAL CAMPER ADVANCES TO : The Elks National Hoop Shoot contest

Past Wooster Girls Basketball camper, Melinda Trimmer has advanced to the Elks National Hoop Shoot contest April 26, 2008. Melinda won the 10/11 year-old girls Elks Great Lakes Regional Hoop Shoot Semi-Finals in Angola, Indiana. Melinda made 22/25 free throws to advance to the Finals in Springfield, Massachusetts - home of the Basketball Hall of Fame.

According to the Elks USA official website (http://www.elks.org/hoopshoot/faq.cfm), over 3 million students participated in the Elks Hoop Shoot contest nation-wide for the opportunity to win a chance to compete at the National Hoop Shoot Finals in Springfield, Massachusetts.
